Description:

Tibet, 18th/ 19th c,
H. 7,5 (21,5 ) cm
The vessel stands on a raised lotus base, its bulbous body decorated with a floral design and a pair of vertically arranged mythological animals issuing rings to which is attached a chain composed of many interconnected rings; and a wooden plaque supported by a tapered pin bearing a medallion carved on the front with a lotus flower bearing the vajra emblem and set in a frame of lotus flowers.
